Edmund Maurer

Edmund Maurer was educated at the hortical high-school as garden- and landscape designer in Vienna Schönbrunn in 1984-1988. Afterwards he worked for 2 private garden companies in Austria. In 1989 he started at the Urban garden department in Innsbruck until 1993. Afterwards and until 2000 he worked in the garden department in Linz. Since then he is the official agent for green roofs and fassade greening in Linz and made many green roof presentation in different european countries and visited a lot of conferences.

He also guide green roof excursions in Linz and help in their department for public traffic.

Hobbies: skiing, cross country, inline skating, biking. 

He lives in is own house with a big garden in the countryside, in the middle of Austria
